Atlantic City – Chelsea Hotel Cabana Club Pool Party – July 5th 2009 This is one of those events I try to convert non-believers into believers for. It’s the type of event where you have to embrace your inner gypsy and let the Cottontails & the Hey Girl Hey Girls guide you. It’s one of those magical occurrences where you have to travel 3 hours or more or less depending on where you’re coming from. DJ Skeet Skeet came all the way from LA for it. I think the pictures prove the madness & magic that was made. “Hey Girl Hey is the no game of parties”. You can quote me on that.
We befriended the head chef of Chelsea Prime! Here Hey Girl Hey & Chef Jason are photographed with the infamous Mahi Wrap.
we also befriended Kristin, a Philadelphia promoter.

My set was super fun! Especially since I had the HGH cheerleaders.
The HGH cheerleaders brought the pom poms to set it off with as much cheer as possible.
Swimming in the pool was my favorite part, the only thing that sucked was the chlorine turned my white bikini green!!! Gasp!
Paloma is my BFF & biz partner in Hey Girl Hey. She’s a fabulous wardrobe stylist and always dressed for success. This was the look she described as “The Release”
We decided Paloma should attempt poolside palm reading. It was a hit!

It’s been awhile my bunnies… I been hopping too hard and it’s been a cruel summer!
I feel really blessed these days to hop this high. Throwing epic events. DJing all over the country. Making music and loving this summer. I hope you will join me & the Cottontails in the festivities. It’s on and poppin this weekend. Tmrw, Sunday July 19th all my skaters and skater lovers. The Harold Hunter Foundation is throwing a BBQ Skate Jam tmrw at East Side Highschool w/ Red Bull, UXA, Shut, New Era & many more. I’ll be spinning off and on. Come get a BBQ plate or come skate! At Sway on Monday…I’m so excited for this return!!! I’ve imported 2 of the best…DJ Clockwork from Cincinniati, OH and DJ Select from Dallas, TX. They have both graced Sway before and now we are so fortunate to have them back again. It’s a party my friends…..Sway has been crackin and Tone & Mel D Cole have been there every week to capture the madness. My lovely bunny Tasha Sancheezie will be co-hosting with me! It is always above and beyond a privilege to spin in Atlanta. ATL is always an amazing amount of fun and dance. My boy Caleb has been doing the party “Sloppy Seconds” for a couple years now. It ALWAYS cracks! I’ve DJed for him 3 times @ Sloppy. This time he had Corey Enemy & Danny Daze; alongside DJ Smiles & myself. It changed my life. Opening for Danny Daze was fun as hell! I got to play some new heat I’ve had and I even performed the Afrojack Remix of “Let’s Make Nasty” Live. Too much fun!!! I think the video & pictures prove that loud & clear. Atlanta is where it’s at; Sloppy Seconds is the party. The after party went down at Dallas Austin’s studio but I didn’t get any photos from that. Some memories are meant to be undocumented.

Yippie Hiyo Summer Fluffy Bunnies!
I really hope your out enjoying these kind of sunsets in the next upcoming Summer months, because I know that I am! But on to what we’re here to talk about… Truly. Summer wouldn’t be summer without some spunk and outrageous fashions from your locals.
 If it hasnt already hit you that bursts of color are in then you’ve definetely had your shades on for a bit too long this summer. Floral prints are also a moving trend this summer. Not only on dresses but you can also find them on bathing suits. Diane Von Furstenburg used Andy Warhol’s floral paintings as inspiration.. peep them here.
 Patricia Field’s has also put a good spin on color with this bathing suit that I found on their website. Its Funky but very edgy…I’d def wear this on the poolside with a Mojito in hand!
 As far as footwear is concerned, Flipflops are always an option, but for those of you who are tired of gettin home with pitch black feet, you can look sexy and flirty with a pair of Keds new wave of skippies. Theyre unbelievably comfy and they come in diff prints and colors for the summer.
 If you don’t like Keds and your strictly a Nike head like I am, I must admit I love my Keds, but Nike never fails to add that extra touch of class to any outfit. If your tired of dunks, and all of the old models, I’m here to tell you that Nike has teamed up with Nylon to create a limited pair of sneakers for us! I mean lime green is hot, but I def think I’d have to opt for the pink ones. You can find the Pink and Green ones @ an Urban Outfitters near you. For the other color ways such as blue, yellow and orange you can find them @ Nike Town, or on the Nikestore website.
 Ahh how I love summer! This is your trend report for now, I’ll keep you posted if I hear of any new ish!
P.S. I think I’m going to start taking pictures of fashion foward peeps on the street so that we can see how diff people determine the trend!
