Bunnays! I cannot wait to get my pre-game on tonight for Headz Will Roll with this new jam! I know, I know, I told you Kelly Rowland’s “Commander” is the summer’s cat’s pajamas, which it still might, who really knows! BUTTT I cannot get OVER Katy Perry’s new hit featuring Snoop Dogg “ California Gurls.” Staying true to Katy Perry form, this song is fun, playful, and infectiously catchy… aka summer-summer-summer! I cannot wait to see the video for this, it’s going to be, like all of her videos, too cute and playful.
With this new song Katy Perry proves she has staying power, and she is showing promise for her new album to be released soon. Does anyone else besides me just love the sound of her voice? Someone told me she seems like a bitch, but I think girl has just got SASS and is not afraid to sass it up, which is what I love about her music. So check out her new song here and be sure to get your ass to Bar13 tonight for Headz Will Roll! Come say hi! Roxy just told me the “very special guest” performer, and all I can say is you better hold onto your tails bunnies!
See you at the cluuuuub.

Hi-hello everyone!! I am on an absolute high right now as Summer has officially begun for Ryan Rabbit! That’s right, no more books until August where I’ll be comin’ at ya live from Madrid (yes, the one in Spain) for a semester, but you don’t have to worry about missing me yet, it’s still four months away…
ANYWAY!
I’m bringing you, as always, the freshest music… this time it’s my first summer anthem prediction!
First up, we have the return of the infectious duo Kelly Rowland and David Guetta with their new smash “Commander.” Personally, I think it’s even better than “When Love Takes Over,” and will be bumpin’ through the clubs all summer. Who wouldn’t want to listen to a song where Kelly Rowland is your commander, and “right now” she’s “commanding you to dance.” Ohh la la, I can already picture the music video filled with military-esque wardrobes and whatnots! Brilliant!! The beat is sick and Kelly Rowland is blowin’ her pipes up and down this jam. Check it out here.
The track is tiiiiight. So check it.
See you all at the club! Get excited for next Thursday, aka the return of HEADZ WILL ROLL!

Bonjour bunnies! (I’m feeling a little French today!) I also am feeling a little grungy today as I listen to Hole’s new CD Nobody’s Daughter. Courtney Love is finally letting out all her anger that has been pent up since Hole’s last CD, which was released in 1998. GIRL WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!? It’s okay, though, because this release was so worth the wait! “I’m not stupid, I just need a lot of help,” croons Love in the opening track “Nobody’s Daughter,” and slowly progresses throughout the song, bellowing about how she’s going to “dig her own grave,” and other self-deprecating happenings. Love needs a savior, and she definitely will find someone in her fanbase especially after this epic release. Ranging from heavy, grungy tracks like “Samantha,” and “Skinny Little Bitch,” which is also the debut single, Love also highlights her emotional release in ballad-y songs like “Honey,” and “Someone Else’s Bed,” a personal favorite of mine ;), but for serious, it’s a good song. All in all, while I am still disappointed that it took well-over 10 years to get a new CD out of Hole, I am pleasantly pleased and forgiving towards Courtney Love because, as I have said before, Nobody’s Daughter is well worth the wait.
Up next buh-bunnies, we have Ninjasonik’s debut full-length CD Art School Girls, not only is this record bumpin’ it’s also high-larious! Straight outta Brooklyn, Ninjasonik pulls out a gimmick-y debut that is infectiously melodic in its beats and vocals. Notable tracks from the debut include “Art School Girls,” a more techno-electronic track, “Ha Ha Ha,” which has a more hip-hop feel, and the can’t-get-it-out-of-my-head track “Somebody Gonna Get Pregnant.” Check out the CD on iTunes and purch-ass it NOW!
That’s all for now, up next is the (gasp!) return of SOMETHING CORPORATE and B.O.B.’s brilliant collabo with Hayley Williams, so stay tuned!!

The sun is shining, yet the wind is blowing, today and I’m strutting around the Village blasting this classic from Florence and the Machine. What prompted me to do so was the simply depressing fact that I could not attend her concert at Le Poisson Rouge this past Thursday night because I was stuck in good ol’ suburbia of Pennsylvania where I once called home. The song’s “You’ve Got the Love” and it’s off her debut CD Lungs. Ranging from the song itself to the accompanying music video, this jam is as spectacular as the radiantly shimmering half-crescent moon she perches herself on as she croons this tune in the video…
A classic love song, this infectious ballad sings of living a life of constant pressure (we all can give an “amen” to that… AMEN!), but the love she has for her significant other is what “sees her through” her life of nonstop go-go-go! Starting out with a simple single-instrument paired with her angelic pipes, the track then bombards the listener with percussion and a vast array of orchestrations. As Spring unfolds in front of us, this song is what we all need as our little blossoms bloom day and night throughout the city! Check out the video here. Hold on a sec, something looks familiar in this video. Holy bunnies, batman! The club scene looks exactly like my favorite party of the week, “Headz Will Roll” at La Pomme, where all the beautiful people come out and “throw their hands up in the air” as Florence sings in the track, and snow falls from the ceiling (well, confetti in Florence’s video).
That’s your music fixing for today, enjoy it Rabbittos! See you all tonight at SWAY!

Hey ya’ll, time for your music fixing for the week! While your boy is working his ass off for that summer beach body at Crunch, he has been listening to Crookers‘ debut record Tons of Friends. Yes, bunnies and gentlemen, this is the Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do of the splendiFIERCEous year of 2010, and we all know I hate using the word fierce so I’m not joking around.
If you do not know Crookers, well then, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!? First garnering fame for their poppin’ remix to Kid Cudi’s “ Day N Nite,” the Italian DJ duo then set off to create something brilliant, and they were absolutely successful.
The album is just POPPIN’ with incredible beats and dope collaborations ranging from French Electro-Pop singer Yelle to the one and only Major Lazer. And while we are on the subject of these superstars, I MUST remark on the infectious beats of both of their respective songs…
“ Cooler Couleur,” is Crookers’ song featuring Yelle, and let me tell you you will be tiltin’ your head back and getting involved with this track. Just hearing the youthful voice of the pint-sized French singer over a gritty, pulsating beat creates a crazed juxtaposition of musical genius, and I applaud Crookers for effortlessly executing such a feat.
Another notable track, “ Jump UP,” featuring the one, the only Major Lazer, is an infectious song meant for the cluuuuuub and for the gym (my preference!), so basically this track is gonna make you SWEAT!! Woo, just by listening to the track as I write this review is making my ears sweat, check it out, get involved!
All in all, each track is unique in its own way, yet the entire album executes a cohesive sound. Each track makes sense where it’s placed and how it is mixed. PICK IT UP!
That’s it for now bunnies!
Until next time…
