I noticed that you promote a young man named Diplo (real name: Wesley Pentz, age 26). I can appreciate that you are working your ass off to help this guys career. That is wonderful!!!
The nature of this e-mail is personal. You may not like what I have to say, and that is okay. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I have one, too. Here it is: I don’t like OXYCONTIN. It is fucking killing off a lot of people right now. Expecially young kids that are getting their hands on the drug.
I am a young mother whose only son was driving a car and was involved in an accident a little over a week ago. He barely made it out alive. The doctor told me he may never walk again. He has been hiding the fact that he has been taking fucking pills. I am getting ready to celebrate one year of sobriety. I know what it is like to party my fucking ass off. But, for all this, my kid was still able to hide his addction from me.
OXYCONTIN is a kill pill, Roxy. It is not something that should be glorified. You should think about changing your tune without having to glorify a pill to do it. I bet you are talented enough that you can think of something else to promote your name without the use of this pill.
Yeah, I see that you got your promotional name all over everything. AND how dare I say this shit! AND my kid didn’t have to take the pill…did he? But, you never took one, did you? HUH? No one around you has, have they? You aren’t inadvertantly promoting the shit by using this as your promotional name…are you? What are you gonna say to your kids one day when they ask you about your promotional name? OH, you will prolly change it by then cause it won’t be cool when YOU are a mom. But, how many kids will you have affected by it in the meantime? Get pissed off at me. I really don’t give a fuck.
