20 FUCKING 20

Saturday, October 14th, 2006

This is about a wild week I had…

Unbelievable but just when I think I’m about to retire from the nightlife industry, along comes 20/20 (Yes, Barbara Walters 20/20) to interview me on the benefits + priviledges of being beautiful in the nightlife industry. I am doing the interview at the spot where much Rubbing, some tugging and Semen will be there! LES kids! Ha! Ian will be the witty doorman, playing himself.
So I’ve decided I need to get more personal with my videos and blog. I have been slacking and consumed with other shit like Tshirts, crazy friends, parties, French men, interviews, my design portfolio, uninvited house guests and more. Now that my nights consist of only Monday parties. Lonnnng story, but lets just say I think I’m about to have a part time day job working for a fun marketing company and developing great ideas for mega corporations very soon!!! Along with making music it seems parties are on the backburner right now, I’m still Djing around town and soon overseas! I know some people will be upset and some friends say NYC needs me in the nghtlife. I want to start booking more shows for live music instead, I used to run the late nights at Joes Pub and kinda miss that. Weeklies are hard to establish but once you establish one, they run themselves. Which is why Sway is so successful. God bless Aron + Saes for that one. I love you guys. The rest of the month at my home away from home (Sway) will be intense.

Monday at Sway was wicked, Cosmo Baker + Them Jeans slaughtered the place. Me and all my friends requested Chicken Noodle Soup and Jason had it! Some more pics here from Brad @ Drink Moloko: http://homepage.mac.com/drinkmoloko/PhotoAlbum59.html

I couldnt go the week before so I kinda missed it. Mad fun times were had, lots of blondes too (I love that). On Tuesday I silkscreened Tshirts with Omar and worked on video shit. Wednesday TTC got into town and we met up. By Thursday I was not feeling like myself at all. A mild cold and some drama I can’t really air out on the internet came up. Thursday I bugged out and bounced and threw no after party for TTC. I’m sorry guys. I realized I just needed time for me, so I took care of that and spoiled myself with a big bunch of being alone.
On Thursday I visited Claw Money at the CMHQ and we bonded and she hooked me up with some AND SUNS stunner shades. BALLIN. Atrak, Dust La Rock and Dirty South Joe were all in the building as well as Haley on the computer design. Claw broke down how I need to pursue my music career, I listened and took in the wise advice. Claw is my mother, mentor and muse. I saw the roughdraft of her book for Powerhouse and it is fucking incredible. I can’t even believe the bitch is getting 10,000 copies of this book printed, I mean I can believe it, its just too awesome. I’m buying a couple copies. I am so proud of her. That book comes out in 07 so you know we will be throwing a big ass party. Fuck, that will rule. I also did a photoshoot with URB magazine on Wednesday morning. Me, Curtis Vodka + DSJ were interviewed and photographed by Brooke Nipar in regards to this messageboard where I have a forum.
So then last night my twin homie Alanna Blonde Cottontail and I go to the Sneaker Pimps party that I promoted, yet there is no doorstaff representing Heavy.com (where I have a web show on the Heavy Angels channel) or Sneaker Pimps. Just mean Avalon security wearing backpacks? We left and came back to my house and drank all of Chrunchy Raisins Don Julio (sorry Chrunchy). Got pretty shitfaced and I got really stoned and Tom Mello texts me that Armand Van Helden is Djing at Duvet! Ok this is quite the twist because Armand told me he NEVER Djs in NYC (I tried to book him). How do I know because Armand and I recorded a song together! (Will it ever come out? Only time will tell.) He told me he only DJs at places with Plam trees so i was quite boggled that he was spinning in NYC. Reid picked us up and then Alanna and I got so drunk that we kinda acted very foolish and I really need to apologize for acting like a retard, to anyone I offended, I’m sorry especially, Reid. So the house music and sound system were just retarded. Dominique from Plant Bar was there too Djing downstairs. They even had this dry ice machine that blew cold ass fog all over you while u were dancing. You couldn’t see anything in front of your face. I took some video of the hottest babes dancing and the fog machine. Tonight ABC is up my butt. What the hell is happening? NYC is so crazy.
I’d like to blog about my insane dreams and nightmares I had all week but I might freak people out.
