Wikipedia says:

“Rabbit rabbit white rabbit” is a common superstition, held
particularly among children. The most common modern version states
that a person should say “rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit” upon waking on
the first day of each new month, and on doing so will receive good
luck for the remainder of that month.

The exact origin of the superstition is certainly unknown, though it
has appeared in print at least as early as 1420 in England, where it
is most commonly said to have originated, though some reports place
its origins even earlier, into the 1200s. Today it has spread to most
of the English-speaking countries of the world, although like all
folklore, determining its exact area of distribution is difficult. The
superstition is related to the broader belief in the rabbit or hare
being a “lucky” animal, as exhibited in the practice of carrying a
rabbit’s foot for luck.

Some have also believed it is representing a jumping into the future
and moving ahead with life and happiness.

HOLA AMIGOS!!!
So as I type I am in Europe now on a 6 day tour to DJ some amazing cities this week. Right now I am with the infamous and adorable Cuizinier of TTC waiting for Europes most famous screw DJ, DJ Raze to come so we can smoke out in the 13th District aka Place d Italie aka the Chinatown of Paris. I never preferred the taste of cigarette with hash but it’s growing on me. I prefer the traditional NY way, a couple grams of Sour Diez in a Dutch, but hey, Who the fuck cares? So my first destination was Paris for the Juice Compilation party with Disque Primeur and Clark Magazine at the Rex. The show was insane and my good friend Kat from The Most Influential in London came to town too so we had a blast shopping all day with her friend Thomas who was the sweetest and took us to the best shops that girls love even tho he’s a dude. Aww! Good looking out Thomas!

Also pics from the next night, Thursday at Luna Rossa in Valencia, Spain. Such an incredible city with incredible people and incredible food. Vamanos a la playa! Big shout to DJ 2D2 and H4L from Book Your Idols for hooking the Cruzan Rum gig and opening for Mos Def in Barcelona. I had a blast!!!! Didn’t get any pics of Barcelona tho : ( too short a stay there. Pepp it people…
