Dearest Cottontails,

Yesterday we all got to be a part of history! Obama is our next President of the United States!! This is an incredible step for all of us, and connects so deeply with me being bi-racial…we have a bi-racial president!! WOW!  I hope you guys are all excited for whats to come…we still have work to do for change… but for today, let’s celebrate!!!

I for one will be celebrating the best way I know how…. taking off the day to go shopping.. or at least celebrating my favorite designer… Coco Chanel!!  The Chanel Mobile Exhibit has touched down in NYC and is in Central Park! Chanel recruited world-renowned artists to contribute works that “explore the notion of the handbag as a cultural symbol, often with a dash of irreverence”.

Gotta love it.  Handbangs, vibrators and Obama! Today is a good day.

It was a crazy week for the Cottontails!!

First, we want to thank everyone who participated and came out to support “OXY GIVES YOU EARS” on Tuesday in helping us win the Red Bull promoter challenge. Yes, that’s what I wrote! We won!!! It was some heavy competition out there…but we had some heavier hitting surprise performances (Spankrock, Mapei, Hollywood Holt, Maggie Horn, Team Facelift & the Clench), incredible DJs (Ni** Sky, Blu Jemz & Dances With White Girls), a Facelift & Fancy Club pillow fight, a Polite in Public photobooth, CLAW MONEY, 100 pairs of Ears, Red Bull gave us Wings, a grand opening event at Imperial but….. above all we had YOU there! It was amazing in every way and of course super duper nightlife photograhper, Bronques was there to capture it all as well as Shot by Brooklyn.
