“Afrojack receives Grammy nomination (alongside co-remixer David
Guetta) for remix of Madonna’s “Revolver”.The rumors are true and we can finally officially confirm that Nick
van de Wall, A.K.A Afrojack, is nominated for his first Grammy Award. The remix, done for Madonna’s song “Revolver,” was penned with
David Guetta in 2010.
Released by Warner Brothers Music, the club version charted
prominently and received heavy airplay. It was one of the standout
commercial dance crossover hits of 2010.
Fans noticed immediately that Afrojacks name was mysteriously missing
from the credits of the ‘One Love Club Remix’ on the Grammy site,
when the nominations came through. After some serious back and forth
between management and the Grammys, word came in on February 7th, 2011
that Afrojack would be credited properly for his work on the remix,
and his Grammy nomination would be officially recognized.

Afrojack, “but we had to wait on the Grammy’s come to back to us.
And now, I guess its official! I would like to thank David for asking
me to collaborate with him on this remix in the first place, and for
his help in getting my role in this remix recognized.”

remixes and original productions in the past year and have several new
projects in the pipeline.
