Sunday, March 27th, 2011Words cannot express how much it warms my heart to hear new & innovative music thats actually good! Now theres no way you could of told me I’d fall for anyone harder than I did for Frank Ocean and his masterpiece that is Nostalgia,Ultra but voila up pops The Weeknd! Living up to their name they provide that much needed break from the norm, a relaxed state of euphoria. Their music much like Frank Ocean’s is hard to categorize. Listening to House of Balloons is kind of like being awake while being in a trance if that makes any sense. The music is so sensual and riveting. I won’t even try to explain their sound I’ll just list a couple of my favorite tracks along with a STRONG suggestion of downloading House of Balloons. I definitely like “The Party & The After Party” which is a sexy melody that switches up at just the right moment. Then theres “Glass Table Girls” which is a more upbeat electro track paired with the lead singers eerily beautiful voice I can’t stop playing it. Honestly pretty much every song is my favorite song so the best thing is for me to just shut up and let you guys hear for yourselves

Sunday, March 27th, 2011Needless to say SXSW this year was legendary. With a complete cast of characters ranging from “freshmen” to “veterans”. Of course our Lady of Cottontail was there with plenty of friends not only to partake in that which is SXSW but to capture some great moments.
