This happened on Saturday May 3rd. Like any normal Saturday in NYC would have happen but I think the night before sparked this flame…. Friday night was Studio B madness, the rooftop revealing actually. It was EPIC. It was sooo very dope because I DJed for an hour before the Brazilian Girls performed. It was AWESOME! EVERYONE was dancing! Ayres patted me on the back for playing Lisette Menendez (and props to Rob Flow for letting me know when Sing Sing met Freestyle) and the Paparoxi was snappin. I got to play all the 90s shit I’ve been fiending to play lately…oh and Studio B has an INCREDIBLE sound system, and now a ROOF…it’s AMAZING. The House of Cottontail came out for the event.

So after a long night of hopping around…Roxy, Paloma & Vivington retire after the fun Studio B partay…it ended late at the Cottontail Castle in hysterics and thongs. We were up around noon and Paloma Cottontail gets THE phone call…. “Couture on a chain-link fence you say???” Her friend Will has cheerfully relayed the news…Patti Wilson and her first assistant Yana are having a sidewalk sale on 1st and 4th….and then we were off….. I didn’t really understand the excitement that filled Paloma with this news but she expresses to me that duh, Patti Wilson IS THE FASHION EDITOR AT LARGE. Particularly for that one publication called Italian Vogue. Paloma exclaims she is the Michael Jackson of her field and we must rush, rush, rush. So that we do and just in time….One of the best New York weekends ever….designer gear out the frames.
