Mixtapes and snowflakes and New Years, OH MY!!
The last day of 2009 has arrived. Are you sad? Are you missing all the things that happened this year? They are almost gone!! Almost a page in the history books. Le sigh. Oh well, enough of that. 2010 marks not only the beginning of a new year but the beginning of a new decade. Get involved with that, rabbitos. Similarly, get involved with the cottontails tonight!! Here’s an update on our movements for the evening. First, Ms. Cottontail will be DJing at The Hotel on Rivington with the ChainSmokers in the Lobby Lounge. Plus, DJ Josh Madden and DJ Manero will be spinning in the penthouse accompanied by your hosts for the evening, Alex Suarez & Ryland Blackinton of Cobra Starship. There are a bunch of different ticket options, all including open bar, listed in the text below. Then, once the new year has officially joined us, the cottontails will hop on over to 14th Street to Cantina Latina for the Last Dance of the Decade afterhours party!! It will be a rousing good time with DJ Parler and DJ Moma spinning all night long and it’s only $20 to get in so come on out and shake a cottontail with the cottontails!
And, in the spirit of the season of giving, we have a very special mixtape to share with all you eager lop ears. It comes to you in celebration of Ms. Pebbles van Peebles’ birthday this month and was crafted by the ever talented, ever awesome and totally handsome WooHoo. While Candy Cottontail, Roxy and Pebbles were all in Mexico for a special birthday holiday they were listening to this amazingly bangin’ tape the whole time. Feliz cumpleanos to all you Sags and Caps out there and Happy New Year!!
