Lions, tigers and bunnies, oh my! Randall’s Island caged in thousands of people Sep 4 & 5 for Electric Zoo. Excuse the delay on the blog, but I’ve been in recovery! We were only fed lots of water and BEATS! With such a great line-up Danielle and I couldn’t pass up on this weekend. Us Miami ladies were spoiled when we lived in the hometown of WMC’s Ultra Music Festival, but Zoo gave us our fix around this time of the year. Although much smaller in comparison to UMF, Zoo has that same amazing pulse/energy to it. The weather was unbelievably perfect (there was supposed to be a thunder storm), the crowd was great, and the DJ’s gave their all. I have to give some respect to Bassnectar, Boys Noize, and Rusko who BLEW my mind… but who ever said I was playing favorites. There were SO many incredible sets!

While Roxy has been out of town we’ve been holding down the fort. Santos was great last night! Night School did not experience a case of the dreaded “sophomore blues”. With Bonnie Danger, Tamara Sky and Soohan as the line-up, it was non-stop goodness. It’s only going to be more fun as every week fly’s by, so make sure to come and join! (Although I’m sure you loving bunnies already have).

Rox is already en route to NYC from Vegas where she spinned at Ghost Bar. I’ve heard only good things about the night, but we can’t wait to have mama Cottontail back!
