Meet The New Faces Part 2

We press on today with a few more talented tails that will be hopping all the way to Drom for the BUNNYJAWN Showcase tomorrow night at 11PM! 1. What waddles, goes “quack, quack” and makes cool music? That would be Ducky. DuckyTrixBath.jpeg

San Francisco native and child prodigy (she was dj’ing around San Fran by the age of 16) will be in the building Friday to tantalize us with her melodic voice. You can get in the mood by checking out her two newest tracks “Killing Time” and “Your Ever After“. She also has beautiful, creative videos for “Dust” here and “Wind Up Bird” here! Picture 51.png

2. This mans resume is so long that I could write a whole page on just him but enter Terrordactel! l.jpg

A producer/DJ/jack of all trades. I’m sure you’ve seen his name on a “Fog Life” flyer with Mama Cottontail or sometimes he DJs with her! He makes the kind of music that automatically makes your body move in a club. His “Trunkstep” Mixtape & Movement with Cobra Krames can be heard here: avatars-000003059833-jvwogu-crop.jpg

3. Zuzuka Poderosa is a babe that does badass baile funk and knows the importance of shaking your Cottontail! We think she’s quite Nasty (in the good way)! zuzuka-poderosa.jpg
Her track “Ai Voce Gosta” (which means “I Love You” in Portuguese) starts off with the Eurythmic’s “Sweet Dreams” and then goes into that familiar Brazilian sound that makes u wanna just shake everything on your body. You can see the video for it by clicking the booty below… Picture 73.png On Friday Zuzuka will share the BUNNYJAWN stage with her super bad & seriously sexy DJ, Valissa.

4. Yes, Japanther is headlining our BUNNYJAWN CMJ showcase alongside the beautiful flow & poetry of GRIMACE! Some people go to school and form a punk rock band and that’s just what Ian Vanek and Matt Reilly did with Japanther. On stage, they each play their instruments hard, cassette tapes with care and sing through telephones (so rad). Japanther have toured nine times and have been featured in The New York Times, Vice and New York magazine. I just hope they perform “Radical Businessman” so that I can scream “1,2,3,4 fuck the cops!” at the top of my lungs :) Picture 83.png
