Tis’ The Season

Its Income Tax time!!!!!!!! You guys know what that means…..frivolous spending with no regard for responsibility YAY!!!!!!!!!  Therefore I’ve compiled a list of the Top 10 Things to Buy With Your Income Tax Money $$$$:

1. A Dessert Couture Hoodie. How can you resist anything by a label whose motto is “Chic With A Cherry On Top”? Not to mention the hoodie comes in a custom pastry scented gift box!

2. A pair of kicks from the new Hellz Bellz x Vans Collabo. Ok so maybe I’m a little biased b/c I’ve seen them up close & personal before their official release *wink wink*, but how can you deny this perfect union of glam and streetwear?

3. A tattoo by the infamous Tat2Slim. So recently I was tatted up by this maniac who I had heard so much about. In addition to making me laugh the whole time he was able to cover up an insane mistake I made a few years back officially turning me into a “VaVaVoom”. His own canvas of work (his body) also proves to be a pretty interesting distraction. Plus he did this dopeness…..

4. A Hello Kitty USB flash drive from AC Gears. Let me tell you guys something a few years back I bought THEE BEST headphones from this place! They were white with pink rhinestones and CRAZY bass! Exclusively imported from Japan and since then I’ve been in love with this little treasure chest of all things cool!

5. A Cartiers Robot Bomber Jacket. I was introduced to these two lovely gentleman via twitter (and mutual friends). Mick Yeezy & Mac Cartier have come together to bring us a very intriguing look into the future with their robot inspired clothing line. Their sleek bomber jacket is a great way to start off the spring of a new decade.

6. An original Kehinde Wiley print. Mr. Kehinde Wiley is a modern day artistic genius. I have NEVER in my life seen someone fuse hip-hop and Victorian ‘esque images and make pure visual magic. I first saw his work at the Brooklyn Museum a few years back during the Hip-Hop exhibit; and before I die I vow to own one of his prints which range anywhere between $500 to $2000

7. Tickets to Alice In Wonderland. Are you kidding me? Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, classic nonsense? “Some say to survive it you need to be as mad as a hatter”. It hits theaters March 5th!

8. Sade’s Latest Album. The Goddess of Smooth has returned ageless, and graceful as ever. I haven’t had the pleasure of hearing of her latest debut “Soldier Of Love” YET but I’m 1000% sure its worth streaming into your ear canals.

9. A pair of Sperry Topsider “duck” boots. They’re cool, they’re trendy, classic & will keep your toesies warm :). I think every generation of my family had a pair & I’ve chosen to carry on the tradition. With this last winter blast we’re having & then the upcoming monsoon season they’re the perfect thing to throw on to stay dry & warm without looking like a clone or a cornball.

10. Tickets to Fashion week. This is the most profitable way to spend your money and its not too late!!! Celebrities like Marc Jacobs,  and Nicole Miller have decided to auction off their seats for Fashion week and the proceeds will go to benefit Haitian Earthquake victims. This is outstanding in my book and to top it off as of right now the bids are extremely reasonable. So why not spend your money in a way that will benefit those that definitely need it.
