Before I head off to Sweden for the weekend I must take the time to show love to a true cultural curator in the NYC scene…DJ Gravy for his growing soundsystem (and new favorite party of mine) RICE AND PEAS! On Monday night I was in awe when I looked around right after SOCA QUEEN Alice Hinds got off the mic and the most gorgeous, stylish, eclectic creations of people were enjoyingthe sounds of DJ Maya and Micro Don. Thanks to everyone who made it, we’ll be doing many more RICE & PEAS parties so keep your eyes pealed.

For my Swedes, I will see you in 24 hours! Stockholm on Friday and Gotenberg on Saturday! Live shows and DJ sets. Wear your dancing shoes!
For my New Yorkers, I’m launching my first line of Oxy Cocktails with Svedka Vodka this Monday at Sway. And so does Room Service on Wednesday…it’s my favorite British designer KESH’s 21st BIRTHDAY! On Saturday night I performed at my first Bot- Mitsvah! Bugsy booked it for me and it was amazing! Bridgette the Birthday girl wanted a club theme so Bugsy hired Mike from Bensonhurst to do the door and me to do a 2 song performance. It was in Englewood @ Space Odyssey USA the coolest club for kids I’ve ever seen! There was lazer tag, bowling alleys and hella video arcade madness. I was feeling very under the weather but managed to pull it together and show some love. Check the pics.
